Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States, June 2024 – Nikki Hauck has joined Oppidan Investment Company as the new Vice President of Human Resources. With a strong background in strategic human resources leadership, diversity and inclusion, and talent management, Nikki is poised to lead HR initiatives that support the company’s growth and employee engagement.
Before joining Oppidan Investment Company, Nikki served as the Director of Human Resources & Associate Engagement at Weis Builders for nearly four years. In this role, she was instrumental in developing staffing plans, building high-performing teams, and maintaining a culture of highly committed associates. She also managed compensation and benefits programs, supported positive associate relations, and ensured compliance with relevant laws.
Prior to Weis Builders, Nikki was a Talent Acquisition Recruiter at Post Consumer Brands during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. She played a crucial role in hiring for multiple production plants, reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and onboarding new hires to meet increased demand.
Nikki spent almost 11 years at Apex International Mfg, Inc., where she held various positions including Talent Acquisition Manager/Human Resources Generalist and Human Resources Generalist/Recruiter. She managed full-cycle recruiting, developed and maintained relationships with hiring managers, and ensured compliance with HR policies and regulations. Her efforts in diversity recruiting and managing internship programs significantly contributed to the company’s talent acquisition strategy.
Additionally, Nikki took on a part-time role as a Human Resources Representative at the National MS Society, Upper Midwest Chapter, where she assisted in merging multiple chapters, managed full-cycle recruiting, and led benefits administration during her tenure at Apex International.
Earlier in her career, Nikki worked as a Professional Development and Recruiting Assistant at PCL Construction. She assisted in recruiting efforts, organized training sessions, and developed training seminars, supporting the district’s recruitment and professional development initiatives.
