Istanbul, Türkiye, October 2024 – Nilgün ATICI has joined Ajinomoto Türkiye as the Chief Human Resources Officer, where she will lead the company’s HR strategies, focusing on enhancing talent management, leadership development, and aligning HR initiatives with corporate objectives. Her role will support Ajinomoto Türkiye’s mission to drive sustainability and innovation in the food sector.
Before joining Ajinomoto Türkiye, Nilgün ATICI was the HR Director for the IMEA Region at GRUNDFOS, where she spent over 11 years leading HR strategies across India, the Middle East, Africa, and Turkey. Her focus included talent management, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness. She played a critical role in fostering a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the region.
Prior to GRUNDFOS, she served as a Human Resources Consultant at Pilentum HR Consultancy & Coaching in Istanbul, providing HR consulting and coaching services to various organizations for nearly two years. She also held the position of Human Resources Director at Fortis Pension & Life, where she built the HR department from the ground up and led several HR transformation projects, including a successful HRIS system implementation.
Earlier in her career, Nilgün spent 14 years at Toyota as the Head of HR, overseeing recruitment, training, performance appraisal, and payroll management. She was instrumental in implementing the HAY Grading Project and introducing a performance appraisal system that improved alignment with the company’s sales structure.
