Plaksha University, a beacon of innovation in technology education, proudly announces the appointment of Nimrata Randhawa Kapoor to the pivotal role of Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).
Kapoor, with an impressive career spanning over two decades, brings to Plaksha a rich tapestry of experience in human resources, coaching, and leadership development, marking a significant step in the university’s journey towards ‘Re-imagining Higher Education’.
Before this new venture, Kapoor founded NimTalkingTalent, a consultancy focused on HR strategies and leadership development, where for more than nine years, she spearheaded projects across diverse industries from IT startups to healthcare. Her work encompassed operating model reviews, HR team setup, leadership development, and succession planning, demonstrating her adeptness in nurturing talent and leadership across various organizational levels.
Kapoor also lent her expertise as a coach with Randstad, where over five and a half years, she was renowned for her ability to provide clarity of thought and implement large-scale solutions. Her coaching interventions benefited individuals and organizations alike, transforming career paths and enhancing leadership capabilities across Fortune 500 companies and leading Indian firms.
Her tenure at J.P. Morgan as Vice President of Human Resources stands out, where for six years, she led significant initiatives across the APAC region, including talent development, organizational design, and strategic HR planning. Kapoor’s role was instrumental in driving the top talent agenda, reducing attrition, and fostering a culture of inclusivity and performance.
Prior to J.P. Morgan, Kapoor made her mark at Headstrong as the Head of People Development for nearly six years, during which she was responsible for the division’s explosive growth from 10 to 1,500 employees. Her strategic interventions in learning, innovation, and organizational development were pivotal to the firm’s success.
Starting her career at Reliance Industries Limited, Kapoor quickly distinguished herself, earning recognition for her leadership in a major organizational effectiveness project.
