Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, January 2025 – Nishad Mehta has been appointed as the General Manager and Head of Corporate Learning and Development at Larsen & Toubro. In this key leadership role, he will oversee the company’s strategic learning and development initiatives, focusing on enhancing leadership capabilities and organizational growth.
Nishad Mehta has been associated with Larsen & Toubro for over 14 years, bringing a wealth of experience in leadership development, organizational development, and human resources management. Prior to his current position, he served as Head of Leadership Development & Organization Development, where he spearheaded leadership pipeline programs, competency assessments, and organizational excellence initiatives.
Before that, Nishad was the Joint General Manager – HR at L&T Power, where he managed learning and development for all employees across various programs, including leadership and competency-based development. His earlier roles include Senior Deputy General Manager – HR at L&T-MHPS Boilers Pvt. Ltd., where he led HR operations for the Hazira manufacturing facility.
Nishad began his career with Larsen & Toubro in 1995 and has held multiple leadership roles in HR and Procurement, contributing significantly to the company’s talent management strategies.
Nishad Mehta holds an Executive Diploma in Human Resources Management from XLRI Jamshedpur, showcasing his commitment to professional excellence in the HR domain.
