Rajasthan, India, December 2024 – Nitesh Rathee has joined UltraTech Cement as Vice President Human Resources. In this role, Rathee will lead the company’s HR operations, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, workforce planning, and strategic HR initiatives, to support UltraTech’s position as a global leader in cement production.
Prior to joining UltraTech Cement, Nitesh Rathee served as Human Resources Manager at Unilever, where he led HR operations for multi-category manufacturing sites. Over nearly seven years at Unilever, he held various roles, including Site-HR Lead and HR Manager, overseeing employee relations, statutory compliance, and talent management to drive operational excellence.
Earlier, Rathee worked at Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Limited as Human Resources Manager, managing HR and industrial relations across multiple manufacturing units. He successfully aligned employee relations and contractor management with business goals, ensuring cost efficiency and smooth operations.
Before Crompton Greaves, he held the role of Manager Human Resources at Fossil India, where he focused on ER/IR, talent acquisition, training, and compliance. His contributions included liaising with government officials and overseeing wage and salary administration.
Rathee also gained valuable experience during his tenure at United Spirits Limited as Unit-HR Head, where he managed statutory compliance, training, and personnel budgeting. His early career included HR roles at ITC Limited and other reputed organizations, where he developed a strong foundation in HR operations and administration.
