Houston, Texas, United States, February 2025 – Normanique Preston has been appointed as the new Chief People Officer at Axiom Space. In this role, she will lead strategic human capital initiatives, workforce planning, and culture transformation as Axiom continues its mission to build the world’s first commercial space station.
Preston joined Axiom Space in July 2024 as Vice President, People & Culture, where she played a key role in shaping the company’s people strategy and enhancing its organizational culture. Before that, she held multiple leadership roles at Cleco, including Vice President & Chief People Officer, where she led talent strategy, workforce planning, and DEI initiatives.
Earlier, she served as Vice President of Human Resources at Dynegy, where she spent 15 years in various HR leadership capacities, driving organizational transformation, talent management, and labor relations. She also held HR leadership roles at Williams and Chase, further strengthening her expertise in human resources, talent acquisition, and organizational development.
