Chicago, Illinois, United States, August 2024 – Buildout is pleased to announce that Olivia Mackay has been appointed as the new Director of People Operations. Olivia brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for people management, which she will leverage to lead and enhance the company’s HR strategies and operations.
Olivia has been a vital part of the Buildout team for nearly four years. Starting as a People Business Partner in November 2020, she quickly advanced to the role of Senior People Business Partner in January 2022. Her dedication to fostering a human-centered employee experience has played a significant role in her promotion to Director of People Operations.
Before joining Buildout, Olivia served as the Director of HR & People Operations at Sertifi, Inc. for over five years. In this role, she was responsible for overseeing HR functions, including employee relations, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, and training and development. Her work at Sertifi was instrumental in aligning HR practices with business goals, leading to a more engaged and productive workforce.
Olivia’s earlier career includes her role as an HR & Recruiting Manager at Sertifi and a Sales Executive at MSDSonline (VelocityEHS), where she honed her skills in recruitment, sales, and client relationship management.
