Delhi, India, August 2024 – Tabrez Khan has started his new role as Associate Director – People Function at Bira 91. In this position, he will oversee the strategic direction and execution of the company’s HR initiatives, ensuring alignment with Bira 91’s overall business objectives.
Before rejoining Bira 91, Tabrez was the Associate Vice President (AVP) – Human Capital at The Max Group for nearly two years. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in talent management, HR operations, and building organizational capability, which significantly contributed to the company’s growth.
Prior to that, Tabrez served as the Head of Human Resources Operations at CityMall for a year. In this role, he was responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that supported the company’s rapid expansion and operational excellence.
Earlier in his career, Tabrez held various leadership positions at Bira 91, including Deputy General Manager and Senior Manager – Human Resources. During his first stint at Bira 91, he was instrumental in establishing HR systems and practices, growing the team from scratch to over 600 employees.
Tabrez also gained valuable experience as an Assistant Manager – North & East India at Myntra.com, where he managed HR operations across 18 states and over 1200 employees.
