Gurugram, Haryana, India, January 2025 – Orpita Mukherjee has taken on the role of CFO for India and Country Head for India Finance at NatWest Group. In her new capacity, Orpita will spearhead financial strategy and operations while driving innovation and fostering collaboration. She aims to work closely with both Indian and global leadership to uphold the company’s standards of financial excellence and adaptability.
Before joining NatWest Group, Orpita served as Executive Director at Morgan Stanley, where she played a pivotal role in financial management and strategy for over five years. Her contributions included driving key financial initiatives and delivering impactful solutions in the financial services space.

Prior to Morgan Stanley, Orpita held the position of Director of Financial Control at RBS, where she successfully managed complex financial processes and established strong governance frameworks during her three-year tenure. Her experience at Deutsche Bank further solidified her expertise, where she served as Vice President and AVP, leading critical financial operations for over five years.
Earlier in her career, Orpita gained valuable experience through leadership roles at organizations like Oracle, Viteos Capital Services, American Express, and GE Capital. Starting her career with ICICI Bank and completing her Articleship at Sharp & Tannan, she developed a robust foundation in financial management and strategy.
