United States, April 2025 – Paaras Parker has joined Greenhouse Software as Chief People Officer, bringing with her a distinguished track record in HR leadership and organizational development. In her new role, she will lead the company’s people strategy, driving innovation in talent, culture, DEI, and leadership to support Greenhouse’s mission of making hiring a strategic advantage for companies around the world.

Prior to joining Greenhouse, Paaras served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Paycor for over three years, where she led enterprise-wide people transformation and helped scale the organization’s workforce strategy in a dynamic tech environment. Her contributions were pivotal in building a high-engagement culture in a remote-first workplace.

Before Paycor, Paaras held a series of senior HR roles at Kroger, where she was Head of HR for Kroger Technology & Digital, 84.51˚, and Alternative Profit, after serving in COE leadership roles for performance, leadership development, and career strategy. Her tenure also included shaping the company’s tech talent initiatives and driving major organizational transformations.

Earlier, she worked at 84.51˚, a Kroger subsidiary, where she led Talent Development, Organizational Development, and DEI initiatives, and at Macy’s, where she held multiple positions including Director of Learning and Development and Director of Engagement Strategy and Analytics, advancing the company’s workforce experience strategies.

Her foundational years were shaped at Global Novations, US Bank, and Victoria’s Secret, where she built core strengths in talent acquisition, client strategy, and leadership development across sectors like banking, retail, and consulting.

Matthew Breitfelder is Partner and Global Head of Human Capital at Apollo, where he focuses on attracting extraordinary talent to the firm and creating an innovative, inclusive, high-performance culture that brings out the best in Apollo’s people. Matt leads Apollo’s recruiting, talent management, compensation, succession planning, citizenship, employee relations, development, and culture work. He is also a member of the firm’s Leadership Team. Matt is committed to expanding opportunities across Apollo’s workplace, marketplace, and communities. Prior to joining Apollo, Matt was Chief Talent Officer at BlackRock as well as a member of the Operating Committee. Previously, he held strategy, talent, and innovation roles at Mastercard, PwC, and CEB/Gartner.

Matt holds a BA in Economics from the University of Southern California, an MSc from the London School of Economics, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He currently serves on the boards of the Lumina Foundation, the Aspen Institute’s Business and Society program, the Milken Institute’s Inclusive Capitalism initiative, and Georgetown University’s initiative on AI, Analytics, and the Future of Work. He is the co-author of numerous Harvard Business School case studies and articles on leadership. Matt has been recognized as a Top Global CHRO multiple times by n2Growth and Stanford Business School.
