Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, January 2025 – Parag Satpute has taken on the role of Managing Director and Group CEO at Greaves Cotton Limited. In this capacity, he will oversee key divisions such as Greaves Engineering, Greaves Retail, Greaves Finance, Greaves Technologies, and Excel Controlinkage. His leadership will focus on operational excellence, sustainable growth, and innovation across the company’s diverse business segments.

Parag joins Greaves Cotton Limited following a tenure as President and Senior Vice President at Bridgestone Mobility Solutions, where he played a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives and business transformation over two years. Prior to this, he served as Managing Director at Bridgestone India, where he successfully led the company’s growth and operational strategies for over five years, solidifying its market position in India.

Before Bridgestone, Parag held key leadership roles at Sandvik, including Managing Director and Country Manager for India, where he spearheaded business operations and contributed to the organization’s growth in high-value manufacturing segments. His extensive career at Sandvik also included global responsibilities, such as President of Wire & Heating Technology and Sales Director – EMEA, where he led business transformations and market expansions across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Parag’s early career included roles as Global Marketing Manager and Product Manager at Sandvik, along with a formative tenure at Grindwell Norton as a Sales Engineer. His journey showcases a blend of strategic vision and operational excellence, backed by nearly three decades of industry experience.
