Avilés brings to the role a wealth of experience spanning over a decade in human resources and employee relations, having previously served as AVP Human Resource Business Partner within Seacoast Bank itself.

Before his tenure at Seacoast Bank, Avilés was integral to the human resources team at Toyota Boshoku America, where he led Employee Relations for the Americas Region. Here, his accomplishments included driving employee engagement strategies, overseeing successful union negotiations, and ensuring regulatory compliance across multiple countries. This role was preceded by his time at Best Sanitizers, Inc., where as a Validations Manager, he oversaw the validation program for the plant, contributing significantly to quality assurance and operational efficiency.

Avilés’s career is distinguished by roles in various sectors, demonstrating his versatile skill set and ability to adapt to and lead within different organizational cultures. His previous positions have endowed him with a rich understanding of both the strategic and operational aspects of human resources, making him a valuable asset to Seacoast Bank’s leadership team.
