Payal Jain Joins NAB as Vice President – Talent Acquisition

Gurugram, Haryana, India, July 2026 — National Australia Bank (NAB) has appointed Payal Jain as Vice President – Talent Acquisition. In her new role, Payal will lead talent acquisition initiatives, supporting NAB’s growth strategy by strengthening recruitment capabilities, enhancing employer branding, and building high-performing teams to meet the bank’s evolving business needs across its operations.

Prior to joining NAB, Payal spent more than 10 years with Aristocrat, where she progressed through a series of leadership roles including Head of Talent Acquisition, Senior Manager – Talent Acquisition, Manager HR, and Deputy Manager HR. As Head of Talent Acquisition, she led recruitment across multiple regions, contributing significantly to workforce expansion by helping scale the organization by more than 1,450 employees during her tenure. She also strengthened employer branding, increased talent engagement, championed diversity and inclusion initiatives, and introduced AI-powered recruitment processes that improved hiring efficiency, candidate experience, and compliance.

Earlier in her career, Payal served as Team Lead – Recruitment at SoftwareONE, where she managed technology hiring and recruitment operations while supporting workforce planning for a rapidly growing global technology organization. Before that, she spent six years as an HR Professional at Pitney Bowes, gaining extensive experience in end-to-end talent acquisition, strategic workforce planning, sourcing, stakeholder management, and recruitment operations across multiple business functions. She began her HR career with Webtek Labs Pvt. Ltd., supporting recruitment initiatives for Microsoft GDCI Hyderabad.

With nearly 19 years of experience in talent acquisition, human resources, employer branding, recruitment transformation, workforce planning, and leadership hiring, Payal has established herself as an accomplished HR leader. Her appointment reflects NAB’s commitment to attracting exceptional talent and strengthening its people strategy as it continues to deliver customer-focused banking services across Australia, New Zealand, and its global operations.
