Taiwan, October 2024 – Penny Liao has joined SHL Medical as Senior Director of Human Resources, bringing her extensive experience in human resources management to the global provider of advanced drug delivery systems. In this new role, Penny will lead SHL Medical’s HR strategy across its Taiwan office, focusing on fostering a strong organizational culture, employee engagement, and talent development to support the company’s patient-centric innovations and global growth.
Before joining SHL Medical, Penny served as HR & Corporate Communications Director at Pernod Ricard for over six years, where she was instrumental in aligning HR and corporate communications strategies to enhance company culture and employee relations across Taiwan.
Prior to her tenure at Pernod Ricard, Penny was the Director of Human Resources at Taipei European School, where she developed HR strategies focused on talent acquisition, employee development, and HR policy implementation for the international school community.
Penny also held the position of HR Director at Schneider Electric, overseeing HR operations for Taiwan and leading the company’s talent management, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives.
Earlier in her career, she spent nearly 11 years at Wrigley, where she held several senior HR roles, including People & Organization Director and People, Learning, and Development Manager, contributing to organizational growth and talent development across the region.
