Copenhagen, Denmark, August 2024 — Muna Therapeutics, a leading biopharmaceutical company, is thrilled to announce the appointment of Pernille Aasholm as the new Head of People. Pernille brings extensive experience in human resources and people management, which will be instrumental in supporting Muna Therapeutics’ mission to develop therapies that address neurodegenerative diseases.
Pernille Aasholm previously served as a Human Resources Business Consultant at Elevating People, a consultancy she founded. Over four years, she provided HR consulting services, primarily to life science organizations, including management workshops, cultural awareness programs, and ensuring compliance with corporate governance and GDPR regulations.
Before that, Pernille was the Head of People, VP at Galecto, Inc., where she played a key role in growing a strong and diverse culture within a global team. She implemented people strategies, streamlined payroll processes, and successfully executed a global salary review process across multiple locations.
Pernille also held the position of Strategic HR Business Partner at LEO Pharma, where she supported the Regulatory Affairs and CMC leadership teams. Her achievements included recruitment support for over 40 positions and the implementation of a management leadership development program.
Earlier in her career, she served as the HR Director at CytoVac A/S, where she prepared the organization for a planned IPO by optimizing payroll processes, implementing HRIS software, and ensuring compliance with all HR and administrative processes.
