San Diego, – Petco Health and Wellness Company, Inc. has made a strategic addition to its leadership team by appointing Holly May as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), effective February 4, 2024. Holly May, with her extensive background spanning over two decades in human resources, has been recognized for her role in developing innovative HR policies and practices that support both personal and business growth. Her experience includes significant roles at Walgreens Boots Alliance, where she led global HR and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) functions, as well as executive positions at Starbucks, Abercrombie & Fitch, and Visa. May’s educational credentials include a graduation from Wellesley College and a Master of Finance from Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business.
Petco’s CEO, Ron Coughlin, expressed enthusiasm about May’s appointment, highlighting her proven track record in driving HR strategies that are closely aligned with business objectives and transformational growth.
