Bad Ragaz, St Gallen, Switzerland, September 2024 – Pierre Dejonghe has been appointed as the Chief People Officer at INFICON, marking the beginning of his tenure in September 2024. In this role, Dejonghe will be responsible for overseeing the company’s human resources strategy, including talent management, employee engagement, and organizational development, contributing to INFICON’s continued growth and innovation.
Pierre Dejonghe brings extensive experience to his new role at INFICON. He served as the Lead Strategic Advisor for Psychometric Solutions at Selectic GmbH and as an Advisor at Wondder, both roles he began in August and March 2024, respectively. He has also been active as a Venture Capital Investor with allygatr since January 2024.
Prior to his current roles, Dejonghe was Vice President of People & Culture for the Eurasia and Middle East Operating Unit at The Coca-Cola Company. During his tenure, he led talent transformation and employee engagement initiatives that significantly improved employee satisfaction and reduced staff turnover.
Before Coca-Cola, Dejonghe was the Chief Human Resources Officer for the Food Division at Americana Foods. He was instrumental in transforming the people and culture agenda, managing a large workforce and multiple plants across the Middle East.
His career also includes a notable stint as the Regional Senior HR Director for MENAT at Kellogg Company, where he supported significant growth and was recognized for his efforts in talent management and employee engagement.
Dejonghe’s earlier roles include HR Director positions at Kellogg Company and Chantelle, as well as consultancy roles at Deloitte and SHL, where he focused on various HR strategies and organizational development initiatives.
