Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, August 2024 – Prashanth Balarama has been appointed as the Senior Director of Communications and CSR at Honeywell India, where he will lead the company’s internal and external communications, as well as corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives across the country. In his new role, Prashanth will be responsible for driving the company’s communications strategy and enhancing its CSR efforts, reflecting Honeywell’s commitment to social impact and sustainability.
Before joining Honeywell, Prashanth served as the Global Geo Communications Lead for AI at IBM from 2023 to 2024, where he was instrumental in developing and executing communications strategies for IBM’s AI business units worldwide. His tenure at IBM also included roles such as External Communications Leader for Asia Pacific and Brand & Communications Leader for India/South Asia, where he was known for his leadership in brand journalism, public relations, and strategic communications.
Throughout his 27-year career at IBM, Prashanth held various leadership positions, demonstrating expertise in communications planning, media relations, and brand development. His extensive experience in digital marketing, external communications, and corporate leadership will be invaluable in his new role at Honeywell.
