Prashobh Chandralayam joins Kyndryl as Vice President & Global Leader for GCCs

Bangalore, Karnataka, India, September 2025 — Kyndryl has appointed Prashobh Chandralayam as Vice President & Global Leader for Global Capability Centers (GCCs). In his new role, he will spearhead Kyndryl’s GCC strategy, strengthening distributed and collaborative teams that are central to enterprise digital transformation initiatives worldwide.

Prashobh joins Kyndryl after a remarkable decade-long tenure at IBM, where he held multiple senior leadership positions. Most recently, he served as Executive Director & Partner at IBM India Private Limited, leading Commercial Markets for the South region. Over the years at IBM, he also contributed significantly as Associate Director & Commercial Markets Leader (South) – GBS, Associate Director, Application Management Services, and General Manager, Application Management Services at IBM GBS, where he was responsible for developing and managing AMS service lines for the India/SA region. His earlier role as Associate General Manager at IBM Global Services in Bangalore further enriched his leadership in IT services and digital transformation.

Prior to IBM, Prashobh was General Manager at Mahindra Satyam (Tech Mahindra), where he successfully led the Aerospace & Defence sector for the South Asia region. He also spent three years as Regional Manager at SAS India, driving business development and customer engagement in business intelligence and data warehousing solutions. Earlier in his career, he worked as Product Manager – Business Intelligence at Tata Infotech Ltd (now part of Tata Consultancy Services), where he played a key role in winning several strategic B-DW deals, and as Deputy Manager – Sales at Software Consultancy Group (later Softcell Trade and Technologies), contributing to the company’s sales and customer acquisition strategy.

With over 25 years of professional experience spanning technology, business intelligence, digital transformation, and leadership roles across global organizations, Prashobh brings a strong vision for building next-generation GCC models that enable innovation and scalability for global enterprises.
