Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, April 2025 — Priyanka Khaneja Gandhi has been appointed as the Head of Amazon India Ads Marketing, marking a significant leadership addition to Amazon’s expanding advertising ecosystem in India. In her new role, Priyanka will lead marketing and creative solutions for Amazon Ads in India. She will be responsible for driving customer and advertiser engagement through digital innovation, performance marketing, storytelling, and platform integration. Her appointment reflects Amazon’s strategic focus on building a robust, customer-centric advertising business in one of its fastest-growing markets.

Before joining Amazon, Priyanka served as Director – Integrated Brand Experience at Colgate-Palmolive (India) Ltd, where she played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s brand, media, and digital vision across categories. Her responsibilities spanned integrated brand communication, ecommerce performance marketing, data-led digital transformation, and managing advertising spends of over ₹500 crore annually. She also spearheaded Colgate-Palmolive’s first-party data initiatives and forged strategic partnerships with digital platforms to enhance consumer outreach.

From 2018 to 2023, Priyanka held the role of Associate Director & Head – Integrated Marketing Communication & Ecommerce Marketing, where she led cross-functional teams focused on media excellence, ecommerce performance, and content innovation. Prior to this, she served as Senior Manager – Media Services and Head of IMC, overseeing all creative, digital, and media mandates across Colgate-Palmolive’s portfolio.

Earlier in her career, Priyanka gained invaluable experience at Madison Communications and Carat, where she managed key accounts like Mondelez, Marico, Godrej, and ICICI. Her foundational years at Starcom/Publicis Group and Enterprise Nexus provided deep exposure to media planning, client relationship management, and cross-channel advertising execution.

Known for her collaborative leadership style and strategic agility, Priyanka has consistently driven marketing effectiveness through consumer-centric insights, digital transformation agendas, and high-impact storytelling. She also brings strong experience in managing cross-agency teams and building scalable frameworks that bridge mass media and digital platforms.

Her appointment at Amazon India Ads comes at a critical juncture, as the ecommerce giant accelerates its advertising business in India. With Amazon Ads playing a growing role in helping brands connect with millions of Indian consumers, Priyanka’s leadership is expected to further elevate the company’s impact in the performance marketing and full-funnel ad ecosystem.
