Pune, Maharashtra, India, December 2025 – Rabi Shankar Mishra has taken charge as Chief Executive Officer – Maharashtra & Goa at Airtel, marking a significant leadership transition within the company’s regional operations. In this role, he will oversee business strategy, sales execution, and customer growth across one of Airtel’s most critical telecom circles, driving market expansion and operational excellence.
In his most recent assignment, Rabi Shankar Mishra served as Chief Executive Officer at Airtel, based in Pune, Maharashtra, following an earlier CEO role in Guwahati, Assam, where he led regional operations and strengthened Airtel’s market presence. His leadership during this period focused on sales strategy, cross-functional execution, and building high-performance teams across diverse geographies.
Prior to joining Airtel, he spent over four years with The Hershey Company, where he served as Sales Director – India, based in Mumbai, Maharashtra. In this role, he led national sales strategy, managed a large on-ground sales force, and was responsible for driving revenue growth across modern and traditional trade channels.
Earlier in his career, Rabi Shankar Mishra held senior leadership positions at Diageo, Mondelēz International, and Cadbury India Ltd., where he managed large regional and national portfolios. His responsibilities included leading multi-state sales organizations, developing route-to-market strategies, driving distribution expansion, and delivering sustained revenue growth across East, West, and national markets.
He began his professional journey with PepsiCo India Limited (Frito-Lay Division) and CavinKare, gaining foundational experience in market development, sales operations, and distributor management across multiple Indian states—experience that continues to inform his leadership approach.
