Newman assumed her role in March 2024, bringing with her a distinguished career spanning over two decades in the fashion and apparel sector.
Before joining LAT Apparel, Rachel Newman held the position of Vice President at Champion US, a subsidiary of Hanesbrands Inc., from August 2023 to March 2024. Her tenure at Champion was marked by strategic leadership and innovative market approaches that significantly contributed to the brand’s success in the United States.
Newman’s extensive experience also includes a 25-year long career at Hanesbrands Inc., where she progressed through several key positions, culminating in her role as Vice President/General Manager American Casualwear. During her time with Hanesbrands Inc., Newman demonstrated exceptional skill in managing the American Casualwear division, overseeing sales and marketing for Hanes Activewear, and contributing substantially to the company’s growth and market presence.
Rachel Newman’s career began in December 1998, where she started as a Sr. Manager Sales, setting the foundation for a career characterized by leadership, strategic vision, and a deep understanding of the apparel industry.
