Toronto, Ontario, Canada, June 2024 – Rahul Ravinder K Malhotra has been named CBDO & Business Head- North America at Prabhudas Lilladher Private Limited, stepping into his new role this month. Rahul’s extensive experience in business development and financial services positions him well to lead Prabhudas Lilladher’s North American operations.
Rahul has been with Prabhudas Lilladher Private Limited for nearly two years. Prior to his current role, he served as Group Head – Business Development & Sales for 1 year and 11 months. In this role, Rahul was responsible for driving and leading sales and business development efforts across the organization, including franchises, branches, digital acquisition, portfolio management services (PMS), investment services, and wealth teams. He spearheaded talent and client acquisition, training and organizational development, new tie-ups and collaborations, and overall business development.
Before joining Prabhudas Lilladher, Rahul was the Director – PMS at Karvy Financial Services Limited for a year. In this role, he was instrumental in spearheading the debt PMS business and was appointed as Director on the board of Karvy Capital by the Reserve Bank of India.
Rahul also served as the CEO of BGOLD Strategy Group for three years, where he focused on fintech, talent acquisition, training and organizational development, and equity markets consultancy.
Prior to that, Rahul was the Country Head-Franchise & Channel Business at Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Limited for three years, heading the franchise and channel business.
Earlier in his career, Rahul held various leadership roles, including Vice President-Agency at Bharti AXA Life Insurance, National Head – Alliances at Future Generali India Insurance Company Limited, and Regional Head at HDFC Bank, where he managed liabilities, CASA, corporate salary, and life and general insurance sales.
Rahul began his career with roles such as Partner at Max Life Insurance Company Limited, Branch Manager at Sify Technologies Limited, and Area Sales Manager at The Coca-Cola Company.
