Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, August 2025 – Rajiv Arora has been appointed as President and Group Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Vishakha Group. In this leadership role, he will be responsible for shaping the Group’s HR vision, driving organizational culture, and aligning talent strategies with Vishakha Group’s ambitious business growth across packaging, renewable energy, irrigation, and material handling solutions.
Rajiv joins Vishakha Group after a distinguished six-year tenure at the Adani Group, where he held multiple senior HR leadership roles. Most recently, he served as Group HR Head – Talent and Leadership Development, where he led strategic talent programs, leadership development frameworks, and succession planning initiatives. Prior to this, as Head HR for Adani Enterprises and Adani Digital Labs, he played a critical role in HR transformation, performance management, leadership hiring, and building a strong employee value proposition.
Before his time at Adani, Rajiv spent over seven years with Mercer in India and the UK, where he was Partner, HR Leader and later Regional HR Leader, EuroPac for Mercer Services. He partnered with global business leaders across multiple markets to drive HR strategy, enhance organizational performance, and build a culture of accountability and excellence.
Earlier, Rajiv served as Vice President & Head HR at Virgin Mobile India, where he helped establish the Virgin brand in India, creating people practices that built an engaged and high-performing workforce. His experience also includes senior HR roles at Hewitt Associates and IBM Business Process, where he led strategic HR initiatives, university tie-ups, and talent management practices across multiple geographies.
In the formative part of his career, Rajiv worked with Tata Power-DDL, where he successfully led the HR integration during the merger of government and private utilities, and BSES Delhi, where he built people policies for a growing joint venture. He also gained early HR experience at VA TECH and began his career as a Senior Officer at Tata Steel, managing shop-floor teams and workforce planning.
