Brazil, March 2026 — Baker Hughes has appointed Francesca A. as Director, Talent Acquisition – Americas (P&C XP). In this role, she will lead the talent acquisition agenda across the Americas, supporting workforce planning, hiring strategy, and talent delivery aligned with Baker Hughes’ priorities across the energy and industrial value chain.
Francesca steps into the position after building deep leadership experience within Baker Hughes, where she has spent nearly four years based in Brazil. Most recently, she served as Global Emerging Talent Director (September 2024 to March 2026), focusing on early-career and pipeline hiring programs designed to strengthen future-ready capability building at scale.
Prior to that, she was Head of Talent Acquisition for Latin America (May 2022 to September 2024), leading regional talent acquisition strategy and execution across key markets and strengthening recruitment operations, stakeholder alignment, and hiring outcomes.
Before joining Baker Hughes, Francesca was associated with Vale as a Global HR & Talent Acquisition Executive (July 2019 to April 2022), working across Brazil and Canada in a hybrid capacity and contributing to talent acquisition and broader people priorities in a complex, global industry environment.
Earlier in her career, she held talent acquisition leadership roles with Shoosmiths as National TA HR Manager UK&I (August 2017 to July 2019) in London, and with Hays, where she progressed from Managing Consultant (December 2011 to August 2017) in the United Kingdom and also gained international exposure through a two-year period working in the UAE. She also served as Talent Acquisition Manager at Hays (July 2019 to April 2020) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, contributing to talent delivery across specialized mandates.
