Kota, Rajasthan, India, September 2025 — ALLEN Career Institute has announced the appointment of Rakesh Ranjan as the new Chief Executive Officer of ALLEN Online. In this role, he will focus on driving digital transformation, technology-led growth, and AI-powered learning solutions to strengthen ALLEN’s position as a leader in online education.
With over 18 years of experience across strategy, operations, and leadership, Rakesh brings deep expertise in scaling businesses and delivering innovation at scale. Most recently, he served as CEO of Zomato Food Delivery, where he successfully led the business to profitability and expanded its market leadership. Prior to this, he was CEO of Hyperpure by Zomato and also held senior roles as Chief Sales Officer – Food Delivery and Vice President – Food Delivery, playing a pivotal role in scaling Zomato’s operations from just 7 cities to over 1,000 cities.
Before joining Zomato, Rakesh gained valuable consulting and corporate experience. At Boston Consulting Group (BCG), he worked on large-scale transformations and growth strategies across technology, consumer, and industrial sectors. At CMS Info Systems, he drove revenue and EBITDA growth while leading acquisition integration. Earlier, at PwC, Diamond Management & Technology Consultants, and Evalueserve, he built strong foundations in strategy, investment research, and business expansion.
