Mumbai, Maharashtra, India – October 2024 – Ram Thawani has been appointed as the Chief Information Security Officer at Svamaan Financial Services Pvt. Ltd.. With extensive experience in IT risk assessment and security solutions, Ram will be instrumental in fortifying the company’s information security framework. In this role, he will oversee the organization’s cybersecurity strategies, ensure data protection, and enhance technological resilience.
Prior to this role, Ram Thawani served as the Assistant General Manager (AGM) – IT at Svamaan Financial Services Pvt. Ltd. for nearly three years. He played a critical role in developing IT infrastructure, managing risk assessment, and implementing robust technology solutions that support business growth.
Before joining Svamaan, Ram was the Chief Manager – IT at Utkarsh Small Finance Bank for over a year and a half, where he focused on IT risk assessment, system upgrades, and compliance solutions, contributing to enhanced security measures and efficient IT operations.
Earlier in his career, he worked as a Senior Project Manager at Nelito Systems Ltd for over seven years. His responsibilities included developing and delivering comprehensive lending solutions, managing multiple projects, and leading teams to achieve key project goals.
Ram began his professional journey as a Senior Software Engineer at Paladion Networks Pvt. Ltd., where he developed security applications and plugins over a six-year tenure, laying the foundation for his expertise in cybersecurity solutions.
