New Delhi, Delhi, India, May 2026 – Satya Narayan Maharana has been appointed as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Gold Plus Glass Industry Ltd., one of India’s leading float glass manufacturers. In his new role, he will lead the organization’s people strategy, HR transformation, talent management, organizational development, and workforce excellence initiatives as the company continues to strengthen its leadership position in India’s manufacturing sector.

With nearly two decades of HR leadership experience, Satya Narayan Maharana has established a strong reputation for driving digital HR transformation, talent calibration initiatives, compensation and benefits modernization, organizational development, and employee experience excellence. Throughout his career, he has successfully partnered with business leaders to create people strategies that enhance organizational capability, performance culture, and workforce engagement.
Prior to joining Gold Plus Glass Industry Ltd., Satya served as General Manager – HR at Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys Ltd., where he spearheaded strategic HR initiatives including manpower planning, talent acquisition, total rewards, talent management, performance management, leadership development, HR digital transformation, and organizational effectiveness. He played a key role in re-engineering HR processes, driving a performance-oriented culture, and enhancing employee experience while preparing the organization for future growth.
Earlier, he served as Vice President – Product at Benepik, where he focused on leveraging technology to transform employee rewards, recognition, engagement, and incentive ecosystems. His work helped organizations adopt innovative, technology-enabled approaches to employee engagement, loyalty, and performance management.
A significant part of his career was spent with Haier Appliances India Pvt. Ltd., where he held multiple leadership roles over nearly nine years. As Associate Director – HR, he led HR service delivery, organizational development, talent management, leadership development, HR automation, and HR strategy initiatives. Previously, as Head – Talent Management & Organization Development, he managed succession planning, performance management, compensation and benefits, HR transformation, workforce planning, and HR technology initiatives for a workforce of more than 8,500 employees across India. He also served as Head – HR Operations, Compensation & Benefits, leading HR operations, compliance, payroll, employee engagement, and HR process automation.
Before Haier, Satya spent more than seven years with HCL Technologies, where he managed HR operations across the ASEAN and Middle East regions. His responsibilities included HR business partnering, payroll administration, compliance management, employee relations, HR automation projects, and workforce support across multiple countries including Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Macau. Earlier in his career, he also gained experience with Computer Sciences Corporation and Adecco, strengthening his expertise in compensation, payroll, compliance, and employee services.
Widely recognized within the HR profession, Satya has received several industry accolades, including recognition among emerging HR leaders and workplace transformation leaders, reflecting his contributions to organizational transformation, talent management, and HR innovation.
