Rajeev Singh Appointed Chief Human Resources Officer at Yokohama-ATG

Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, May 2026 – Rajeev Singh has been appointed as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Yokohama-ATG, reinforcing the company’s focus on workforce transformation, people strategy, leadership development, and organizational growth. In his new role, he will lead initiatives aimed at strengthening workforce capabilities, enhancing employee engagement, driving organizational effectiveness, and supporting the company’s long-term growth and operational excellence agenda.

A seasoned HR leader with nearly three decades of experience, Rajeev brings extensive expertise in strategic human resources, talent management, industrial relations, organizational transformation, leadership development, change management, and business partnering. His appointment reflects Yokohama-ATG’s continued commitment to building a high-performance, people-centric organization capable of supporting its expanding global operations.

Before joining Yokohama-ATG, Rajeev served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Epic Group, where he led the people agenda for one of the global apparel and supply chain organizations. During his tenure, he focused on workforce transformation, leadership capability enhancement, talent strategy, and organizational effectiveness initiatives across international operations.

Prior to Epic Group, Rajeev was Chief Human Resources Officer at Solara Active Pharma Sciences, where he played a key role in strengthening HR strategy, leadership development, employee engagement, and organizational transformation initiatives. His leadership contributed to aligning people strategies with the company’s growth objectives in a highly competitive pharmaceutical sector.

A significant chapter of his career was his earlier tenure with Yokohama Off-Highway Tires, where he served as Chief Human Resources Officer – ATC for more than four years. In that role, he led several strategic HR initiatives focused on organizational growth, talent management, culture transformation, and leadership development. His return to the Yokohama ecosystem highlights the confidence the organization places in his leadership and understanding of the business.

Before that, Rajeev served as President & Chief Human Resource Officer at Welspun Corp, where he led enterprise-wide HR transformation initiatives and supported the company’s growth strategy through people-focused interventions. His leadership was instrumental in strengthening workforce capabilities and driving organizational effectiveness.

Earlier, Rajeev spent more than a decade with BG Group, holding several senior HR leadership roles across India, the United Kingdom, and international operations. As Head of HR & Business Services – PMT, General Manager – HR, and HR Manager, he managed complex HR portfolios, business services, organizational development, and international HR business partnering responsibilities. He also served as Director – HR & Administration at Gujarat Gas Company Limited, leading strategic HR and administration functions.

His professional journey further includes consulting experience with PwC, where he advised organizations on business restructuring, organization design, HR operating models, change management, and workforce transformation. Earlier in his career, he worked with Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, managing industrial relations in a highly unionized environment, and began his professional journey with Ispat Industries.

Rajeev holds a Master of Arts in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, one of India’s premier institutions for human resources and social sciences education. His academic foundation, combined with nearly 30 years of leadership experience, has enabled him to successfully lead people transformation initiatives across manufacturing, energy, pharmaceuticals, infrastructure, apparel, and industrial sectors.
