Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, September 2025 – NetApp India has announced the appointment of Ranjit Kumar Singh as Site HR Leader and Senior Director HRBP. In this role, he will drive HR leadership, business partnering, and people strategy to strengthen NetApp’s India operations and global talent agenda.
Before joining NetApp, Ranjit served as Human Resources Director – ISC at Zebra Technologies, where he spearheaded strategic HR leadership, talent management, change management, and compliance management across the region.
Previously, he spent nearly five years with VMware as Director HR BP for Asia Pacific & Japan, Saudi & UAE, managing HR portfolios for over 15 countries and supporting a workforce of more than 15,000. He played a pivotal role in enabling SaaS transformation, building leadership capabilities, and coaching business leaders through large-scale organizational shifts.
Earlier in his career, he held the position of Chief Human Resources Officer at Solara Active Pharma Sciences, where he led a 60-member HR team managing a global headcount of 3,500+. He collaborated with CXOs to drive business decisions, foster succession planning, and build a high-performance culture across global offices and multiple plants in India.
Ranjit also contributed significantly to Allergan, where he worked for more than five years, holding leadership roles including Head of Human Resources. In this capacity, he drove HR strategy, performance management, talent development, employee engagement, and was part of the Global Talent Management CoE, rolling out initiatives across APAC.
His earlier career included impactful HR leadership roles at Sapient, Oracle, and GMR Group, where he focused on talent strategy, business partnering, performance management, and organizational development across corporate and regional levels.
Ranjit Kumar Singh is an alumnus of the Xavier Institute of Social Service, where he earned his Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations (PGDPM-IR).
