Kobe, Japan, July 2024 – Ratul Ghosh has been appointed as the Vice President-Human Resources at Procter & Gamble Japan. With over 18 years of dedicated service at Procter & Gamble, Ratul brings extensive experience and leadership to his new role, where he will oversee the entire HR function for one of P&G’s largest global markets.
Ratul Ghosh has been with Procter & Gamble for approximately 18 years and 10 months. Prior to his current role, he served as the Senior Regional Director-HR for Pampers and Marketing Function in the Asia Middle East Africa region for about 1.5 years. In this capacity, Ratul led the talent development and staffing processes for over 650 marketers across 20+ countries, directly reporting to the CEO of the regional business.
Before that, Ratul was the Senior Director-HR (CHRO) for Korea and Regional Employee Relations Head for the Asia Middle East Africa region, where he managed HR functions for over 18,000 employees across 40 markets. He also served as the Associate Director-HR for Global SK-II Beauty Care in Japan, leading HR initiatives for P&G’s top prestige skincare brand.
Ratul’s earlier roles at P&G include Global HR Lead for R&D Grooming in the USA, Country HR Head-Supply Chain in India and Egypt, and Regional Talent Practice Head for Japan & Korea. He has also held significant positions as the Country Talent Practice Head in India and the Plant Human Resources Head in Bhopal, India.
