Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, June 2024 – Rawan H. AlOtaibi has been appointed as the new Vice President of Human Resources at Al Rajhi Takaful. Bringing extensive experience and strategic HR insights, Rawan will focus on driving HR initiatives and enhancing the organizational culture at Al Rajhi Takaful.
Rawan H. AlOtaibi has been with Al Rajhi Takaful for approximately 10 months, serving in various leadership roles. Prior to her promotion to VP of Human Resources, she served as the NRC Secretary for around 8 months and the Center of Excellence Director for about 10 months.
Before joining Al Rajhi Takaful, Rawan worked at Mobily for around 3 years. She held the position of General Manager, HR Strategy (A) for about 1 year, where she evaluated the HR unit’s status and developed the HR strategy for 2023-2025. As the Director of Talent Development for nearly 2.5 years, she introduced integrated talent development strategies, initiated various talent programs, and led significant enhancements in competencies review initiatives.
Rawan also served as the Talent Development Lead for around 8 months, where she launched the Elite Program and enhanced assessment center tools.
At National Housing Company (NHC), she worked as a Talent Development Specialist for 7 months, contributing to the development of leadership programs and the successful delivery of eLearning initiatives.
Her earlier roles include positions at Saudi Railway Company as an Organizational Development and Training Specialist for around 1.5 years, Sumitomo Corporation as a Human Resources Officer for approximately 1.5 years, and Tata Consultancy Services as a Process Associate – HR Project for about 1.5 years.
