Australia and New Zealand – October 2024 – Rebekah Charif has been appointed as the Head of People and Culture at FB Rice, a leading intellectual property firm. In this new role, Rebekah will focus on driving strategic HR initiatives, talent management, and employee engagement across FB Rice’s offices in Australia, New Zealand, and South-East Asia.
Before joining FB Rice, Rebekah Charif served as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner at Dentons for nearly three years. During her tenure, she led HR strategies, employee relations, and talent development, supporting Dentons’ growth in the region.
Earlier, Rebekah held the position of HR Manager at Abt Associates, where she managed HR operations, policy development, and recruitment for both remote and in-country teams, enhancing HR effectiveness in Papua New Guinea and Australia.
Prior to that, Rebekah was the Human Capital Manager at PwC Papua New Guinea, where she played a pivotal role in HR transformation, focusing on talent acquisition, employee engagement, and performance management.
Her earlier experiences include roles as HR Manager at Chin H Meen & Sons Limited and Case Manager at Employers Mutual Limited, where she honed her skills in HR operations, case management, and employee welfare.
