Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, June 2024 – Greenplysamet appoints Reema Remy as Head of Human Resources. Bringing extensive experience in HR leadership and strategic management, Reema is set to drive the HR functions at Greenplysamet to new heights.
Reema joins Greenplysamet after a successful tenure at NITCO LIMITED, where she served as Assistant General Manager Human Resources from November 2014 to June 2024. During her nearly decade-long tenure, Reema played a pivotal role in establishing organizational systems and processes, leading HR initiatives in CXO meetings, and driving cultural transformation. Her contributions included designing and implementing a talent acquisition strategy, improving employee productivity through robust performance management systems, and overseeing HR audit and compliance.
Before her time at NITCO, Reema worked at MENARINI Group as an Assistant Manager – Human Resources from August 2012 to November 2014. In this role, she managed manpower planning and budgeting, strategic hiring of senior management, and the development of new policies to enhance people development and performance management. Reema also handled compensation and benefits, employee engagement, and training and development.
Reema’s career began at Abbott India Ltd, where she was part of the Talent Acquisition team from January 2010 to August 2012. She implemented recruitment plans for the sales force, managed high-volume recruitment, and supported senior management hiring. Reema also worked at Steria India Ltd as an HR Executive from July 2006 to January 2009, where she coordinated recruitment and induction, handled compensation administration, and organized training sessions and performance review workshops.
Reema holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management (PGDPM) with a specialization in Human Resources from Xavier Institute of Social Service.
