Istanbul, Türkiye – October 2024 – Refik Sarıtepe has been appointed as the new Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Monster Notebook, a leading gaming laptop and accessories manufacturer. Refik will oversee the company’s IT strategy, focusing on optimizing digital operations, enhancing product security, and driving technological innovation for the gaming community.

Prior to joining Monster Notebook, Refik Sarıtepe served as the Delivery Director at Testinium, where he managed the delivery of software testing services and solutions. His responsibilities included leading cross-functional teams, implementing best practices, and optimizing software delivery processes. He also played a crucial role in enhancing the company’s project management and agile transformation efforts.

Before his tenure at Testinium, Refik worked as a Fintech Advisor at FintechUP, where he provided strategic guidance and technological insights to support the company’s growth and development. His focus was on developing fintech solutions, improving product management, and implementing agile methodologies.

Earlier, Refik held senior leadership roles at Eçözüm Bilgi Teknolojileri A.Ş., where he served as General Manager and CTO. During this period, he spearheaded the company’s scale-up process, managed open banking and online payment product development, and led the transformation of the technology and product management teams. He also focused on enhancing the software development life cycle and product strategies to support growth and innovation.

Refik’s foundational career experiences include establishing and managing the Software Project Management Office at Etstur, where he was responsible for implementing enterprise software development processes and leading critical projects. His expertise in project management, software development, and agile transformation has been instrumental in driving technology initiatives across various organizations.
