India is on the cusp of a renewable energy transformation, and achieving the 500 GW target will require an estimated investment of ₹30 lakh crore. Both public and private sectors need to collaborate on funding renewable energy projects in the coming years to ensure successful attainment of this milestone. ReNew remains at the forefront of this effort by expanding its clean energy portfolio, including green hydrogen and job creation initiatives, in alignment with the country’s climate goals.

About ReNew
Founded in 2011, ReNew is a pioneering decarbonization solutions provider, with around 15.6 GW of commissioned and pipeline projects in wind and solar energy. The company, which became the first Indian clean energy company to list on Nasdaq (RNW), also leads initiatives in green hydrogen, energy storage, and carbon markets.

ReNew’s efforts have been globally acknowledged, including being named a Lighthouse by the World Economic Forum, among MIT Technology Review’s ‘Top 15 Climate Tech Companies to Watch’, and receiving the Terra Carta Seal. The company has also been recognized for developing India’s first round-the-clock power project.

ReNew’s projects span over 150 sites across 18 Indian states, currently contributing to 1.9% of India’s total power capacity and reducing 1.1% of India’s power sector emissions. The company has also generated over 130,000 jobs in the past decade while helping prevent 0.5% of India’s total carbon emissions.
