Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, September 2024 – Dharmesh Kansara has been appointed as the Vice President of Human Resources at MRL Tyres Limited, a leading tyre manufacturer in India.

In his new role, Dharmesh will lead the company’s HR strategies and operations, focusing on driving employee relations, organizational development, and aligning the HR function with MRL Tyres’ growth goals. His deep expertise in HR leadership across various industries will be instrumental in furthering the company’s expansion and talent management efforts.

Before joining MRL Tyres Limited, Dharmesh Kansara held the role of Director of Human Resources at Yokohama Off-Highway Tires for 10 months, where he led strategic HR initiatives, focusing on employee relations and workforce development. He has been with Yokohama for 5 years and 11 months, initially serving as Head of Employee Relations. His leadership at Yokohama strengthened HR operations and ensured a harmonious work environment.

Prior to that, Dharmesh was the Head of HR Business Partner at AIA Engineering Ltd for 1 year and 6 months, where he successfully developed and implemented HR strategies to drive business results. His role involved partnering with business leaders to align HR initiatives with organizational goals, enhancing talent acquisition, and streamlining HR processes.

Earlier in his career, Dharmesh held the position of Head of HR & Admin at Borosil Renewables Ltd for 1 year and 6 months, and at Adani Ports and SEZ for 4 years and 7 months, where he was responsible for driving HR and administrative functions to support business growth and operational efficiency.

Dharmesh’s career began at Essar Steel, where he spent 12 years and 6 months as the Plant HR Lead, focusing on workforce management and employee engagement at the Surat facility.
