Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, January 2026 — Rima Bhardwaj has taken over as Director – Legal and Compliance at AB InBev, marking a significant addition to the leadership team of the world’s leading brewing group, known for its iconic brand portfolio, strong governance framework, and commitment to responsible growth and compliance excellence.
In her new role, Rima Bhardwaj will be responsible for leading the legal and compliance function for the organization, providing strategic counsel, strengthening governance standards, and supporting the business across regulatory, risk, and compliance priorities in a complex and highly regulated operating environment.
Before joining AB InBev, Rima spent over four years with Kenvue, where she served as Associate Director – Legal. At Kenvue—earlier the Consumer Health division of Johnson & Johnson—she played a key role in advising the business on a wide range of legal and regulatory matters, supporting commercial operations and ensuring robust compliance frameworks.
Prior to this, she built a strong foundation at Unilever, where she held multiple roles over nearly six years. Her responsibilities spanned Legal Counsel – Supply Chain, Procurement, HR & Real Estate, as well as Legal Counsel – Modern Trade, E-Commerce & Institutional Business and West Region, giving her deep exposure to sales, supply chain, procurement, HR, and real estate legal matters across complex business environments.
Earlier in her career, Rima held legal leadership roles at Walmart as Manager – Legal, and at Nestlé as Associate Manager – Legal, further strengthening her experience across global consumer, retail, and FMCG organizations.
With a career spanning more than 15 years across multinational organizations, Rima Bhardwaj brings deep expertise in corporate legal advisory, compliance, governance, and risk management, positioning her well to support AB InBev’s continued focus on ethical conduct, regulatory excellence, and sustainable growth.
