Rimjhim R. Joins Ogilvy as Vice President – Strategy

Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, May 2026 — Ogilvy has appointed Rimjhim R. as Vice President – Strategy, strengthening its strategic leadership capabilities with an experienced brand planner and communications strategist. She brings nearly a decade of experience across brand strategy, healthcare communications, regional planning, digital strategy, consumer insights, and business growth across the Asia-Pacific region.

Before joining Ogilvy, Rimjhim served as Regional Strategist at Edelman, where she led brand and business strategy across consumer, corporate, and healthcare sectors. In this role, she shaped multi-market strategies for leading global brands and organizations including Roche, Johnson & Johnson, Novartis, Boston Scientific, Starbucks, PepsiCo, KFC, and Unilever, while contributing to significant pitch success and business growth.

Earlier at Edelman, she worked as Regional Healthcare Strategist, leading multi-market healthcare strategy across APAC for clients including Roche, Johnson & Johnson, Novartis, Novo Nordisk, Amgen, and Boston Scientific. Her work focused on access, innovation, policy impact, reputation building, and integrated communications frameworks.

Prior to Edelman, Rimjhim served as Freelance Strategy Director at Dentsu Creative, where she directed regional brand and digital strategy for Amex, Manulife, and Moccona. She also held the role of Strategy Director at Naga DDB Tribal, driving brand growth, value perception, e-commerce strategy, and research excellence for KFC Malaysia and CelcomDigi.

Previously, she was Strategy Director at 82point5, where she built culturally rooted brand strategies for brands including Bisleri, ABP, Cera, Vedica, and Taali Foods, contributing to award-recognized work including an Effie Silver for sustained success. Her earlier experience also includes roles with DDB Remedy, DDB Mudra Group, Wipro, Leo Burnett, and Omnicom Media Group, where she developed strong capabilities in strategic planning, market research, employer branding, content marketing, and creative strategy.

With her cross-market experience across consumer, corporate, healthcare, technology, lifestyle, financial services, and FMCG sectors, Rimjhim’s appointment adds depth to Ogilvy’s strategy function as the agency continues delivering culture-changing, value-driving ideas for clients.
