Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, May 2025 — Rohit Suri has been appointed as Chief Human Resources Officer at Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEE), effective May 12, 2025. With over 25 years of experience in HR leadership across leading global and Indian organizations, Suri steps into a critical role, reporting directly to CEO Punit Goenka, and is set to lead ZEE’s people strategy in alignment with the company’s transformation and long-term vision.
Prior to joining ZEE, Suri served as Head of Talent – India at Netflix, where he spearheaded HR transformation and championed a data-driven approach to talent development. His tenure was marked by initiatives focused on leadership development, organizational agility, and culture-building, underpinned by global best practices.
Earlier, he was CHRO – South Asia at dentsu international, and Chief HR & Talent Officer – South Asia at GroupM, where he led large HR teams and played a key role in regional business transformations across the media and advertising industry. He was also instrumental in scaling high-performing teams and embedding digital-first HR capabilities.
Suri’s earlier stints include leadership roles at Paytm, People Interactive (Shaadi.com), and Turner Broadcasting, where he built strategic HR functions and contributed to M&A integrations and innovation-driven organizational change. He began his HR journey with roles at Disney Star, Krohm Solutions, ABC Consultants, and The Indian Express.
Recognized by Harvard Business Review and IMD Business School for his contributions to shadow boards and agile leadership frameworks, Suri’s appointment underscores ZEE’s commitment to cultivating a high-performance, inclusive, and future-ready workforce.
