Montreal, Quebec, Canada, December 2024 – Leigh Clasby has been named the Vice President Corporate Human Resources at Domtar, a leading manufacturer of diversified forest products. In her new role, Leigh will oversee the company’s human resources strategy and initiatives, fostering talent development and enhancing organizational effectiveness across Domtar’s global operations.
Before joining Domtar, Leigh served as Vice President Human Resources Wood Products at Paper Excellence, where she managed HR strategies for a year. She also held the role of Vice President Human Resources PE Canada, driving human capital solutions for over two years.
Leigh previously worked as Director of Talent Management at Paper Excellence, where she designed and implemented talent strategies to align with organizational goals. She also served as an HR Manager at the company, demonstrating her expertise in workforce management and engagement.
Prior to Paper Excellence, Leigh spent over six years at Canfor as an HR Manager, where she focused on building effective HR programs and supporting employee development.
