Pune, Maharashtra, India, January 2026 — SKH Group has announced the appointment of Rupesh Panambur as Assistant Vice President – Human Resources, Regional Head (Western Region). In this role, he will be responsible for partnering closely with business and plant leadership teams across the Western Region to strengthen leadership capability, talent development, employee relations, and employee engagement, while ensuring strong alignment between people strategy and business priorities.
With a career spanning more than two decades, Rupesh Panambur brings deep expertise in HR leadership within large, complex manufacturing environments. His appointment comes at a time when SKH Group continues to strengthen its people and leadership architecture to support scale, operational excellence, and sustained growth across its automotive and engineering businesses.
Prior to joining SKH Group, Rupesh served for over four years as Head of Human Resources at Schaeffler, based in Pune. In this role, he was responsible for driving HR strategy across employee engagement, succession planning, HR transformation, compensation and benefits, industrial relations, and HR business partnering in a global manufacturing context.
Before Schaeffler, Rupesh spent nearly eight and a half years with Yazaki India Private Limited (erstwhile Tata AutoComp), where he held the role of GM – HR & ER. His tenure was marked by strong focus on manpower handling, industrial relations, global HR practices, and people management in high-scale automotive operations.
Earlier in his career, Rupesh held senior HR leadership roles at TATA AutoComp Systems Ltd as Unit Head HR – Tata Ficosa, Minda Stoneridge Instruments Limited as Head of Human Resources, and Fleetguard Filters Pvt. Ltd. as HR Manager – Filtrum. He began his professional journey in corporate HR with Ecoboard Industries Limited, building a strong foundation in manufacturing HR operations.
