Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, April 2026 — Saibal Chandra Banerjee has been appointed as Business Head – Trade Sales at CookieMan (Australian Foods India Private Limited), bringing decades of leadership experience across retail, merchandising, supply chain, FMCG, business strategy, category management, and large-scale sales operations.
In his new role at CookieMan, Saibal Chandra Banerjee will lead trade sales strategy, business growth, and market expansion for one of India’s leading premium fresh baked cookie brands.
Before joining CookieMan, Saibal served as Chief Executive Officer at Magson Retail & Distribution Ltd, where he led retail business operations across Gujarat and Goa, focusing on strategic growth, business planning, and retail transformation.
Earlier, he spent nearly four years with Wellness Forever Medicare Limited, where he held senior leadership positions including Senior Vice President – Merchandising & CMO, Vice President – Merchandising and Supply Chain, and Vice President – Merchandising, overseeing merchandising strategy, supply chain, category growth, and commercial optimization.
Prior to this, Saibal served as Chief Merchandising Officer at Foodhall India, where he managed merchandising, category development, and premium retail growth strategies.
He also held the role of Chief Executive Officer at KFM Retail, Kathmandu Farmers Market, leading integrated retail and supply chain operations.
Saibal spent nearly a decade with Spencer’s Retail Ltd, where he held multiple leadership roles, including Additional General Manager & Head – Merchandising & Analytics, Head – Merchandising, Analytics & Planning, and Head – Processed Food, Beverages & Alliances, leading category management, merchandising strategy, sales forecasting, analytics, and vendor partnerships.
His earlier leadership journey includes national and regional sales roles with Watanmal Group, Dabur India Limited, Wipro Consumer Care and Lighting, Balsara Home Products, and Reckitt Benckiser, where he built deep expertise in sales leadership, distribution strategy, and FMCG market execution.
