Phnom Penh, Cambodia, March 2025 – Salin Ly has been appointed as Chief Human Resources Officer at Sathapana Bank, where he will lead the bank’s people strategy, talent development, and organizational culture initiatives. With a strong background in HR leadership across financial services and insurance sectors, he brings extensive expertise in performance management, employee engagement, and rewards strategy.
Prior to joining Sathapana Bank, Ly served as HR Director & Learning and Talent Lead for Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar at Prudential (Cambodia) Life Assurance, where he played a key role in shaping HR strategy, workforce planning, and talent development programs. He also held leadership roles as Acting Chief Human Resources Officer and Head of Rewards & Employee Experience, driving key HR transformations.
Before his tenure at Prudential Cambodia, he was part of Prudential Assurance Company Singapore, where he served as Head of Rewards & Performance, overseeing compensation frameworks and performance management strategies. He also held roles in talent and rewards management, contributing to HR modernization efforts in Singapore and the Southeast Asia region.
Earlier in his career, Ly worked at Maybank and ANZ Royal Bank (Cambodia) Ltd, where he was responsible for strategic planning, business performance, and financial governance, providing his with a strong cross-functional perspective on HR and business alignment.
Ly holds a Master’s Degree in Professional Economics from Victoria University of Wellington, adding a strategic and analytical foundation to his expertise in HR leadership and business transformation.
