(MOFSL) as Senior Group Vice President & Head – Training (Wealth Management), bringing over two decades of extensive leadership experience across training, business transformation, sales development, and agency growth within India’s financial services and insurance sectors.
Before joining Motilal Oswal Financial Services, Sameer spent more than seven years with ICICI Lombard, where he held multiple leadership positions including Vice President – Business Transformation, Vice President & Head – Agency Relationship, and Head – Agency Initiatives. During his tenure, he played a key role in driving business transformation, strengthening agency channels, and leading strategic initiatives focused on growth, operational excellence, and capability development.
Earlier, Sameer held senior leadership roles with Max Skill First Limited and Max Life Insurance Company Limited, where he managed large-scale regional and zonal training operations, sales development, and business-building initiatives across multiple geographies. He led extensive trainer and regional manager networks, supporting workforce capability enhancement and business growth across agency channels.
His earlier career also includes leadership roles at Birla Sun Life Insurance, Unilever, and Avery India Ltd, where he built strong expertise in sales, training, business operations, and key account management.
With more than 24 years of professional experience, Sameer brings deep expertise in learning and development, wealth management capability building, sales leadership, agency transformation, and large-scale people development.
