Samira Dash Appointed as Group Head – Human Resources at Fortune Group

Hyderabad, Telangana, India, November 2025 — Samira Dash has taken on the role of Group Head – Human Resources at Fortune Group, a diversified business conglomerate with interests spanning automobile dealerships, IT/ITES, cable manufacturing, electrical trading, architecture and interior design, and real estate. In this leadership capacity, Samira will oversee the Group’s people strategy across multiple brands and geographies, focusing on organizational transformation, leadership development, and workforce digitalization.

As a seasoned HR professional with over two decades of experience, Samira is known for building high-performing, people-centric organizations that drive both employee engagement and business excellence. At Fortune Group, she will play a pivotal role in aligning human capital initiatives with the Group’s long-term strategic goals and growth vision.

Before rejoining Fortune Group, Samira Dash served as Head of Human Resources at Next Education, where she led HR strategy, organizational capability building, and people operations for one of India’s leading education technology companies. Her efforts focused on developing leadership talent, strengthening performance culture, and enhancing HR operational efficiency.

Earlier, she was associated with Sevya Multimedia as HR Business Operations Manager, where she successfully integrated people processes with business outcomes and implemented robust HR systems to drive productivity and engagement.

Prior to that, Samira contributed to Fresh Prints as Talent Manager, where she managed global HR operations and designed frameworks for leadership hiring and cross-border talent development.

Her earlier leadership tenure includes serving as Lead Principal Strategist at thestrategist &, where she provided organizational advisory and HR transformation consulting to various client organizations.

Notably, Samira previously held the position of Group Head – HR at Fortune Group between 2013 and 2018, where she built the foundational people systems that supported the Group’s expansion across India. Her earlier career also includes stints at Deloitte, where she worked as Senior Analyst – Talent Delivery, Fortune Ford as HR Lead, Quetzel, and STMicroelectronics, where she began her HR career.

Samira Dash holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Utkal University, providing her with a strong academic foundation in human behavior, organizational development, and performance psychology.
