Delhi, India, March 2025 – Sandeep Kumar has joined ONGC Foundation as the Chief Operating Officer, where he will be responsible for leading the foundation’s strategic initiatives, corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs, and community development efforts.
With a distinguished career in CSR and social impact leadership, Sandeep Kumar brings over two decades of experience driving sustainability, employee engagement, and community programs. Prior to this role, he served as General Manager – CSR at Indo Count Industries Limited for four years, where he spearheaded initiatives in corporate social responsibility, sustainability, and policy advocacy. Before that, he was GM – CSR at NEPRA Resource Management Pvt. Ltd., where he focused on waste management, community engagement, and sustainable development.
Sandeep’s expertise in CSR strategy and program execution is further reflected in his tenure as GM – CSR at Setco Automotive Ltd., where he led sustainability and community outreach programs. His experience also includes serving as Senior Program Manager at Solidaridad Network, where he promoted sustainable agricultural practices. Earlier in his career, he held key roles at Reliance Foundation, Tata Motors, and Crompton Greaves, overseeing CSR initiatives, employee engagement programs, and environmental sustainability efforts.
In addition to his corporate experience, Sandeep has worked extensively in social development and public health through leadership roles at Urban Health Resource Centre (UHRC), Avert Society, ActionAid India, and Samarthan-Centre for Development Support. He holds an MBA in Rural Management from Xavier Institute of Social Service, further strengthening his expertise in social impact, sustainability, and community engagement. His rich experience and educational background will be instrumental in advancing ONGC Foundation’s mission to drive positive change through CSR and social initiatives.
