Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, January 2026 – Sandeep Sethumadhavan has taken on an expanded leadership role as Director, Head of Security Technology & Strategy at Cognizant. In this role, he will lead the organization’s global security technology roadmap, governance frameworks and strategic cyber resilience initiatives.
Sandeep Sethumadhavan has built an extensive career of nearly two decades in cybersecurity governance, security operations and technology strategy. He has spent over sixteen years at Cognizant, most recently serving as Associate Director, and previously as Senior Manager, Manager – e-Security Governance & Operations, and Senior Executive, where he played a pivotal role in building enterprise-wide information security governance, compliance and operational resilience programs.
Earlier in his career, he served as Project Manager at IMTAC Technologies LLC, leading security solutions and infrastructure initiatives, strengthening his expertise in security architecture, governance and enterprise risk management.
