This strategic move comes as Kulmeet Bawa, the former President and Managing Director, transitions to a global role as the Chief Revenue Officer of the SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP), marking a significant leadership reshuffle within the company.
Manish Prasad, a seasoned business leader and technology veteran within SAP, has over two decades of experience delivering strategic outcomes for leading organizations across various sectors such as metals, mining, and automotive. His extensive career spans across global and regional businesses in North America, the Middle East, Asia, and Australia, showcasing a deep understanding of diverse markets and industries.
Under the leadership of Paul Marriott, President of SAP Asia Pacific Japan, Prasad is expected to drive significant growth and innovation within India—one of SAP’s fastest-growing markets globally. His appointment is seen as a pivotal step towards accelerating the digital transformation journeys of Indian enterprises, leveraging emerging technologies like artificial intelligence to unlock new possibilities.
