Sarah Abdel Zaher Joins Legrand Egypt as Human Resources Director

Cairo, Cairo Governorate, Egypt, June 2026 — Legrand Egypt has announced the appointment of Sarah Abdel Zaher as Human Resources Director. In her new role, she will lead the company’s people strategy, talent management, organizational development, employee engagement, and workforce transformation initiatives, supporting Legrand Egypt’s continued growth and business objectives across the region.

Sarah joins Legrand Egypt following a successful tenure at Kraft Heinz, where she most recently served as Head of People & Performance (HR) – Africa & Trading. Prior to that, she held the role of North Africa HR & Internal Communications Manager, leading human resources and communication initiatives across multiple markets while strengthening organizational culture, talent development, and business alignment.

Before Kraft Heinz, Sarah spent more than eight years with Danone, where she progressed through several leadership positions including HRBP Operations (Manufacturing, Logistics, Procurement, QFS), Learning and Talent Development Manager, Senior HR Generalist – Commercial, Supply Chain, Medical & Health Affairs, and HR Generalist – Early Life Nutrition. During her tenure, she contributed significantly to talent development, leadership capability building, workforce planning, and HR business partnering across diverse business functions.

Earlier in her career, Sarah held human resources and recruitment roles with Cedar White Bradley and Antal International Network, where she developed expertise in talent acquisition, employee relations, and organizational support functions that laid the foundation for her subsequent leadership journey.

With more than a decade of progressive experience across multinational organizations in the consumer goods and industrial sectors, Sarah brings deep expertise in strategic HR leadership, talent management, learning and development, organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and business partnering. Her appointment is expected to strengthen Legrand Egypt’s people agenda while supporting the organization’s growth ambitions and commitment to developing high-performing teams.
